En este trabajo se analizan los desplazamientos internos de la población enCosta Rica, tomando como punto de partida el marco geográfico-regional
propuesto por H. Nuhn. El estudio se orienta en este sentido, en la medida,
que para el caso costarricense, la perspectiva regional no ha sido utilizada
en los estudios migratorio. Los estudios disponibles en Costa Rica sobre
movilidad interna analizan el fenómeno tomando como base territorial el
recorte espacial propuesto en la división político-administrativa. Este
hecho, a juicio nuestro, introduce un sinnúmero de limitaciones que
posteriormente reseñamos.
