Peer review process
Peer review process
Policies
1. All contributions received (scientific articles, essays, technical reports, among others) will be evaluated, in the first instance, by the editor to verify compliance with the editorial standards of the journal (content, structure, citation, presentation of tables, tables, graphs, figures, among others). The foregoing does not mean that publication is compulsory.
2. If the work meets the first evaluation, a peer review is carried out. This process consists of the selection, assignment and rigorous evaluation of two external specialists, who criticize the text according to various criteria established by the journal.
3. The double-blind system shall be used, i.e. the name of the author(s) and external evaluators shall be omitted.
4. The average arbitration time is 15 days from the date the article is sent to the pairs.
5. The evaluations of the external specialists are sent to the editor of the journal, who unifies the observations and suggestions to deliver them to the author(s) of the work. 30 days are allocated for item enhancement.
