This document shows the method for making step by step a protective box. In order to provide an easy, economic and effective protection to individuals or institutions that do not have the inputs needed for the rescue of the documents. In the first instance contextualized in a general manner, the situation of the preservation and conservation of the different collections of a unit of information; subsequently, mentions important aspects to be considered for the realization of these boxes. Finally, there is the process illustrated, for the construction of this material.
