The modernization of the rudimentary means demands at present the automation in the acquisition of documents used in the Department of Acquisitions of the Library of the National University in order to attend more satisfactorily to the needs of his users and to simplify the work of the personnel of this Department. In this article only one refers to the automation of the orders of purchase due to the complexity of the system of acquisition.
