In the event that the nominated article is accepted for publication, the authors allow the FREE, EXCLUSIVE, WORLDWIDE AND INDEFINITE PERIOD transfer of their authorship property rights to the National University (Costa Rica), which implies the following :

1. The graphic and style edition of the work or part of it.
2. The complete publication and reproduction of the work or part of it, both by printed and electronic media, including the Internet and any other technology known or to be known.
3. The translation into any language or dialect of the work or part of it.
4. The adaptation of the work to reading, sound, voice formats and any other representation or technical mechanism available, which enables its access for partially or totally blind people, or with some other form of special abilities that prevents them from accessing reading conventional item.
5. The distribution and making available of the work to the public, in such a way that the public can have access to them from the time and place that each person chooses, through the physical or electronic mechanisms available.
6. That the work be distributed through the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial No Derivatives International license version 4.0, which implies the possibility that readers can freely download, store, copy and distribute the final version.
7. Any other form of use, process or system known or to be known that is related to the activities and editorial purposes to which the Magazine is linked.
8. Rights of reuse: In turn, UNA grants the AUTHORS the right to reuse for any purpose and to be able to publish on the internet or any electronic site, the final approved and published version (post-print) of the article, as long as be done non-profit.
9. They accept that, with their collaboration, the submitted article is adjusted by the Journal's editing team, to the "Instructions for authors" previously established and published on the official website of the Journal, in terms of procedures , format, correction, editing, publication, duration of the editorial process and other requirements requested in said standards.
10. They accept that the Journal reserves the right to promptly withdraw or block access to the publications stored on its virtual platforms at the time of obtaining effective knowledge of a complaint filed by a third party for alleged infringement of their copyright.
11. In accordance with Law No. 8968, law for the protection of the person against the processing of their personal data, the AUTHORS agree to provide the Journal with a contact email, as well as the personal data necessary for the identification of the authorship . In turn, they authorize the Journal to publish, together with the article, the necessary personal data (name and surnames, institution, city/country, mail and ORCID number). Any other personal data other than that indicated above, will be protected by the Journal with absolute confidentiality and may not be disclosed or transferred to third parties without the consent of the AUTHORS.
12. They admit that the application and possible publication of the article in the Universidad en Diálogo Magazine will be governed by its editorial policies, the institutional regulations of the National University and the legislation of the Republic of Costa Rica. Additionally, that in case of any eventual difference of opinion or future dispute, it will be resolved in accordance with the mechanisms of Alternate Conflict Resolution and the Costa Rican Jurisdiction.
