The article is a review of the policies of the agricultural sector based on the results of an extension project with small producers and one of research related to inter-institutional articulations developed in the Chorotega Region in Costa Rica.
This paper aims to highlight the gaps in Costa Rican agricultural sector policies related to the reduction of poverty and the generation of employment directed to small agricultural producers.
