Relação dinâmica entre o desenvolvimento da infra-estrutura e o crescimento econômico a longo prazo na Costa Rica, 1983 - 2017

O desenvolvimento da infra-estrutura representa uma condição de primeira ordem para a aceleração do crescimento econômico através de diferentes canais que aumentam a produtividade dos outros fatores de produção, que são parte dos processos de geração de bens e serviços em uma economia. O estudo seguinte visa verificar, através de um modelo econométrico dinâmico de desfasamentos distribuídos, a incidência da criação deste, medido em unidades reais, no nível de produção da economia costarriquenha para o período 1983-2017; Os resultados são congruentes com a importância dada à infra-estrutura como motor dinâmico da economia e são reveladores para a compreensão dos efeitos desfasados do desenvolvimento efetivo do capital físico sobre o crescimento, enquanto outras linhas de pesquisa vêm à tona, como a relação entre os tipos de infra-estrutura de muito curto, curto, médio e longo prazo e o capital físico, crescimento e produtividade.
