¿La competitividad que se promueve es sistémica?

Podemos empezar por definir que se entiende por competitividad, existen varias definiciones al respecto. Una definición que me parece adecuada es la que determina que la competitividad es, ¨el proceso mediante el cual la empresa genera valor agregado a través de aumentos en la productividad, y ese crecimiento en el valor agregado es sostenido, es decir se mantiene en el mediano y largo plazo¨. Esto sería lo más deseable que sucediera, y es lo que la CEPAL ha dado a conocer como competitividad auténtica, a diferencia de los conceptos tradicionales de competitividad espúrea, basada en ventajas de muy corto plazo; como puede ser salarios baratos, sobreexplotación de los recursos naturales, aprovechamiento de subsidios por parte del estado, etc...
