Education is an essentially social manifestation. This social extension appears both in the very nature of the educational process and in the contents, habits, and values that are transferred in educational action. Consequently, education is always a consequence of the historical moment in which it happens, the place where it takes place, the dominant culture, as well as the current socio-political structure (Sarramona, 1994).
