Abstract

In this essay, the author makes a historical account of the work of Diego Domínguez Caballero, renown Panamenean philosopher and teacher. In addition, the author, discusses the critical role played by Domínguez in the teaching of philosophy in Panamenean higher education, the conceptualization of Panamenean philosophy, and the search for the Panamenean.
