CARACTERIZACIÓN DE LAS REGIONES TECTÓNICAS DEL ESTADO DE MÉXICO A TRAVÉS DE LA APLICACIÓN DE GEOTECNOLOGÍAS
Abstract

The study shows the results of a tectonic regional investigation of the State of Mexico, using a methodology which combines conventional office and field methods with geotechnologies like
DEM illumination models and satellite image classification in combination with other geological and geomorphologic studies. The results of this work have defined the complex tectonic grid characteristic of the surface of the State of Mexico, including previously unknown structures.
