Abstract

Iniciou-se, nos anos de 1970, um processo de desconcentração industrial no estado de São Paulo, o que gerou uma forte industrialização no interior do estado, sendo beneficiadas principalmente as regiões de Campinas, Ribeirão Preto, Sorocaba e São José dos Campos. Este projeto de pesquisa propõe analisar os impactos e efeitos da estruturação produtiva e desconcentração econômica ocorrida na Região Metropolitana de São Paulo para a Região Administrativa de Campinas, e de que maneira ocorre a evolução da indústria intermediária nessa região.
