Revisión critica de los conceptos fundamentales que dan cuenta de algunos intentos de conceptualización de los movimientos sociales urbanos realizados por autores tales como Manuel Castells, Jordi Borja y Mario Lungo. Caracterización de las migraciones interregionales y el significado de las áreas residenciales obreras. Estos movimientos sociales, reivindicados en lo económico y lo político, son analizados empíricamente, en el caso de Costa Rica, tomando como casos de estudio a las ciudades portuarias más importantes del país, esto es, Puntarenas y Limón.

Proposed policy for journals offering Open Access
Authors publishing their works in the Journal acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
