REFERENCIAS CONCEPTUALES EN EL ABORDAJE DE LOS DESASTRES NATURALES

El artículo introduce al lector en la problemática actual de los desastres naturales y la importancia de su estudio. Destaca los paradigmas que orientan los estudios en está temática y que corresponde a los enfoques “dominante o del comportamiento” y “estructural o marxista”. Explica el abordaje que cada uno hace en el análisis de los desastres naturales, así como el manejo diferencial del concepto de vulnerabilidad. Finaliza con la definición de algunos términos básicos que se utilizan en investigaciones en desastres naturales y señala que su estudio y análisis debe ser realizado integrando e interrelacionando tanto los aspectos físicos, como humanos para poder hacer una adecuada planificación del uso del suelo.

Proposed policy for journals offering Open Access
Authors publishing their works in the Journal acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
