LAS SABANAS HÚMEDAS DEL SUR DE COSTA RICA. UNA CARACTERIZACIÓN FITOGEOGRÁFICA

En el presente artículo se caracterizan las sabanas húmedas de sur de Costa Rica, las cuales cubren una superficie de aproximadamente 15.000 hectáreas. La mayoría de dicha superficie no se encuentra protegida, bajo ninguna categoría de conservación, lo cual ha posibilitado su transformación.
