Abstract

One of the integral writers of Nicaraguan culture was María Teresa
Sánchez (Managua, October 15, 1918- Ibid., August 21, 1994) who
she developed in the genres of poetry, narrative and essay; In addition to being an anthologist, editor and cultural promoter. His work Nicaraguan Poetry: Anthology (1948) rescues from oblivion to many authors before the middle of the last century, becoming a reference work of the 20th century. Here a poetic sample and a text are gathered narrative with the purpose of presenting to a new audience the work of a woman whose talent must be appreciated.

Alexander Zosa-Cano,

Es licenciado en Ciencias de la Educación con mención en Lengua y Literatura Hispánica (2015) por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua. Actualmente, estudia la Maestría en Estudios de la Cultura Centroamericana con énfasis en Literatura en la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica. Es miembro correspondiente de la Academia de Geografía e Historia de Nicaragua, editor del Fondo de Ediciones Espiral y miembro directivo del Clan Intelectual de Chontales.
