Abstract

The article makes a balance about the use of gender category in graduation projects at the history school of “Universidad Nacional” and the curriculum of “Ministerio de Educación Pública”; in addition, it discusses topics related to social conditioning and male domination based on Pierre Bourdieu; furthermore, it analyses the necessity of integrating the theorizing about the gender in the Costa Rican national system as a measure to counteract inequalities between women and men.
