Abstract

El 2020 marca el 25 aniversario desde la fundación del Centro Internacional de Política Econ´ómica para el Desarrollo Sostenible de la Universidad Naciona, Costa Rica. Es un gran motivo para celebrar muchos logros, aunque este festejo coincida lamentablemente con una situación difícil, tanto a nivel mundial como en nuestro país, como lo es la pandemia provocada por el coronavirus.  Sin embargo, a pesar de este contexto, queremos compartir con ustedes una serie de apreciaciones a modo de reflexiones sobre el pensamiento y práctica de la política económica en tiempos actuales.

Olman Segura-Bonilla, Universidad, Nacional

Economist with a Master's degree from the University of London, Queen Mary and Westfield College, England and Ph.D. in Economics of Innovation and Technological Change from Aalborg University, Denmark. Ex-President of the National Institute of Learning, ex-Rector of the National University, Costa Rica. Researcher and teacher at the International Center for Economic Policy for Sustainable Development (CINPE-UNA).
