Novos registros de Minuca zacae (Brachyura: Ocypodidae) nos golfos Montijo e Parita, Panamá

Resumo

Apresentamos o primeiro relato do caranguejo violinista mexicano menor, Minuca zacae Crane, 1941, no Panamá. A identidade dos caranguejos dos Golfos Montijo e Parita foi confirmada por sua testa larga, órbitas oblíquas e palma sem crista tuberculada oblíqua. Este relatório fecha uma lacuna de distribuição entre a Costa Rica e a Colômbia, atualizando assim a área de distribuição da espécie da Baía de Altata, no norte do México, até a Baía de Málaga, na Colômbia.
