Políticas Públicas de Turismo no Brasil: Reflexão sobre a Atividade nos Estados de Goiás, Roraima e São Paulo

Public policies are government actions, with the participation of the business sector, and mobilization of representative segments of the population, seeking to benefit the communities. This contribution is structured with the purpose of thinking about public tourism policies in Brazil, the way as the government is encouraging the regionalization of this sector. So, the approach is turned to three States with very diverse characteristics in the country: Goias, Roraima and Sao Paulo focusing on particular tourist activities directed to these realities so different. This "routing" (tourist destinations) in the country earn different names, that is, in Goias it is known as “Region“, in Sao Paulo as a “Circuit” and, in Roraima, is called “Pole“. The increase in value of the environment question will be studied in the practice of this activity as well as the definitions of the vocations and potentialities in each one of these regions.
