Una cita memorable: XI Encuentro de las Cátedras Martianas en Costa Rica

Abstract

Cátedras Martianas is a significant academic exchange meeting for those interested in the study of the life and work of José Martí. They are being held at different venues of the Americas for more than a decade ago. Cátedras Martianas gatherings are possible largely by the systematic work of the host countries where the meetings are held  and due to the organizational and academic support of the Cátedras  Martianas International Network and  the Centro de Estudios Martianos,  in Havana, Cuba. This paper is about  an academic activity that over the years has called up for analysis, research findings and theories around the life and thought of one of the Latin America's most outstanding political personalities.
