Se expone un problema clínico colectivo de dermatomicosis, producido por Trichophyton verrucosum; dicho caso ocurrió en un rebaño de bovinos de engorde de la raza cebú. Se resalta la
importancia del equilibrio biológico que se establece entre huésped y parásito y las condiciones de ambiente que pueden alterarlo. Se enfatiza la importancia que representa esta enfermedad en cuanto a la salud pública, por ser posible la transmisión al hombre.
