La reproducción eficiente es crucial para lograr la rentabilidad de un hato ; así, la detección de celos es fundamental para el rendimiento reproductivo del hato lechero especializado. Son muchos los factores que influyen en la correcta detección de celos, principalmente la variabilidad individual (factores intrínsecos) y los factores ambientales (extrínseco).
Abstract
Reproduction efficiency is a critical aspect in the achievement of a profitable herd; thus, heat detection is fundamental for the reproductive performance in dairy cattle. Correct estrus detection is affected by many factors, mainly the individual variability (intrinsic factors) and environmental factors (extrinsic).
